Unfortunately I dont have the funds to make it out this year. I would give you a ride but afraid my car wont make it. I feel for you though as time is getting close. Have you thought about buying a bus ticket to Reno? Greyhound also ships packages if your art project will fit under the bus in boxes. They are a little cheaper than UPS and Post Office. There are also buses leaving Reno straight to the playa.

Mon, August 3, 2009 - 4:31 AMhey there, i'm from nor cal myself (berkeley, oakland, sf, belmont down to santa cruz since 89') and idunno, I've been stranded in las vegas since 2001 w/ no escape in sight...what can I say?! las vegans can be pretty shallow to be honest...all that drinking and gambling, nothing of the altruistic spirit you find in 'other parts'....idunno, first burn of mine was 1999, 6th burn since, 10 year anniversary...i don't go to the burn to follow the sheep though...I've got my own ideas...and plus I need a ride this year, call me if you are going (i've got $250 on gas), john/ mg nos 702-265-2136 -

Wed, November 4, 2009 - 8:42 PMSorry for the delay in reply. I sometimes forget that I'm on tribe and space out. I would love to see if your planning on going out next year. Planning is fun. Or if you just want to get together to brianstorm I'm good for that as well. I got tons of stuff to make costumes with including a kickass sewing machine and for the more delicate/intracate stuff I got a seamstress that rocks. So who did you hang out with In Reno? Do you know Archie?
